Download af og introduktion til NetLogo som program (tre faneblade, settings, speed, check…), samt af simulationen (setup, go, go once).

Forventet tidsforbrug: 20 min.


Introduktion til og "fri leg" med simulering ( i grupper a' 2 personer) med følgende fokus:

Describe to each other what is going on in the simulation. Also, note if there is anything that does not correspond with what you know about cell membranes. Note this on paper or in a document.

Tasks (T) and questions (Q) for each lesson:

Arbejdsspørgsmålene (Q) kan findes på et separat arbejdsark som kan udleveres til eleverne i undervisningen:

T1: make more watermolecules.

Q1: why are the watermolecules shaped as a triangle? Write your answers on the worksheet.

T2: make potassium ions. Think long and hard about the shape and color that you chose. And where topical the potassium-ions in the model.

When you’re finished creating the watermolecules and potassium-ions, you should save the model as: pi1X.nlogo and upload it to the conference. Make “x” something you can remember (groupnumber, name …). Chose somebody elses .nlogo-file and answer Q2.

Q2: why did (another group) chose this particular shape, color and location to represent the potassium-ions? Write your answers on the worksheet.

T3: hit “go” and observe what happens in the simulation. In particular look at the “plot” and observe what happens.

Q3: which of the two compounds; watermolecules or sodiumions, reach equilibrium first? Why is that? Write your answers on the worksheet.

Q5: What is the function of the botton “Go-Once” and why is it in the simulation? Write your answers on the worksheet.
